How to say “I like something” in Greek?
If it’s one (1) thing, then you say “Μου αρέσει” = (to me is pleasable) + the thing you like, definite article + noun, always in nominative, ο, η, το + ουσιαστικό στην ονομαστική.
Μου αρέσει η σοκολάτα 🍫
Μου αρέσει ο καφές ☕️
Μου αρέσει το παγωτό 🍦
If you like two (2) or more things, then you say «Μου αρέσΟΥΝ» + the things you like, article and noun in plural, nominative, οι, τα + ουσιαστικό πληθυντικός αριθμός στην ονομαστική.
Μου αρέσουν οι σοκολάτες 🍫🍫
Μου αρέσουν οι καφέδες ☕️☕️
Μου αρέσουν τα παγωτά 🍦🍦
When you want to say you like DOING something, then you begin the same way as with a singular noun, «Μου αρέσει» but now you add + να + ρήμα στον ενεστώτα (the verb in present tense, easy 😀)
